We kick off our summer series with the seasonal star: the tomato!
At their peak from mid-summer through early fall, this is the classic, “Is it a fruit or is it a vegetable?” item. You will be surprised at who waded into this controversy – and surprisingly – decided unanimously on an unusual answer. We will dive into that debate, as well as explore the history, global travels, agriculture, and culinary influence of tomatoes.
